OBITAURY
Rotan - Lone time Buffalo Gap resident Hattie Aaron, 88, died Friday at 11 p.m. in Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene after a brief illness. Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Rotan Church of Christ, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Eugene Henderson, minister of Buffalo Gap, Church of Christ, will officiate, assisted by Hank Allan, minister of Hamlin Church of Christ. Burial will be in Hobbs Cemetery.
Born Nov 11, 1891, in Comanche County, she was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Masters. She married Frank Aaron Nov 19, 1910, in the Hobbs Community. He preceded her in death Aug 20, 1975.
Mrs. Aaron had lived in Buffalo Gap the last 18 years, moving there from Fisher County.
She was a member of the Chruch of Christ.
Survivors include; four sons, Jack and Bill of Snyder, Ted of Brownwood, Joe of Euless; five daughters Mrs. Walter (Gearl) Hartsfield, Mrs. Tommy (Jonnie) Hartsfield of Stephenville, Mrs. Jesse (Maxine) Paulk of Buffalo Gap, Mrs. Harold (Mary Lou) Parker of San Angelo, and Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Shearer of Hamlin,; two brothers Tom Masters of Abilene and Charlie Masters of Weatherford, foster children Kitty Cole of Buffalo Gap and her brothers and sisters, 27 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was prececed in death by two sisters, two brothers and one great-greatdaughter.
Pallbearers are Virgil Zoth, Bunk Rinker, Doyce Waddell, Leo Blackwood, Stanley Cole and Zed Randolph.
