Mrs. Beulah Bednar
Mrs. Beulah Blunk Bednar, 51, of 803 Lafayette, died at 10:30 P.M. Friday at Porter Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born in Terre Haute, Sept. 11, 1907, the daughter of Adam and Vilette Blunk. On Nov. 25, 1933 in Terre Haute, she married Frank Bednar, who survives.
Mrs Bednar resided in the Valparaiso area for 32 years. She was a member of the First Methodist church, the Eagles Auxiliary, and the Wednesday Bunco club.
Surviving besides the husband are three daughters Mrs. Donna Peterson, Chesterton; Miss Esther Bednar and Miss Doris Bednar, Valparaiso; two sons, Frank, Jr., Valparaiso, and Clarence, U.S. Navy; sister, Mrs Edna Green, West Terre Haute; five brothers, Adam and Archie Blunk, Valparaiso; Glen Blunk, Portland, Ore.; THeodore Blunk, Aurora, Ill.; and Ira hall, Tampa, Fla.
Services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Dykes Funeral Home with the Rev. William E Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery in Valparaiso.
Friends may call at Dykes Funeral home from Monday noon until time of the servicies on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be members of the Moose Lodge 1357 Drill team.
