Death: unknown

Source: from the book "Houston County (Texas) Cemeteries" (Third Edition), compiled by the Houston County Historical Commission, published 1987. Information on these burials were submitted by Georgia Jolley. This cemetery was started in the 1800's. "Uncle" King Ward, who lived on the Bluff and lived to be 106 years old recalled these burials to Mrs Jolley, and she recorded them and submitted the Slaves names, all of which only had a first name, no last name. These slaves were buried along side Captain Stubblefield and his children in this cemetery on the Trinity River Bluff.
