Died, at the home of her son, Hobart T. Ives, St. Louis, Mo., Saturday morning, July 23, at 3:15 o'clock, Mrs. Sarah A. Ives, aged about 79 years. Mrs. Ives was a widow of the late Hiram B. Ives, who was a member of the grocery firm of H. B. Ives & Son, on Washington street near Fifth street about twenty years ago, and who died in this city about eight years ago. She came to this city with her husband from Ogdensburg, N. Y., some thirty years ago and resided here until a year after her husband's death, when she went to St. Louis to reside with her son. She was well known for her lovable traits of character and her death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. The remains will arrive in this city this morning over the C. & A. railroad and taken to the home of Mrs. E. F. Gehlman where the funeral services will be held. The interment will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
