Rites for Walter L. Cooksey At Newkirk's
Final rites for Walter L. Cooksey, 81, of Dugger, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Newkirk Funeral Home in Dugger. Mr. Cooksey died at 6 p.m. Thursday at the home of a son, Medford, Dugger R. 1.
Surviving are four other sons, C.S. Cooksey of Terre Haute, Paul of Vicksburg, Arthur of Linton and Carl of Dugger; two daughters Mrs. Mable Hutchinson of Pennsylvania and Mrs. Rosalind Goodman of Sullivan; one brother Irvin of Terre Haute; two sisters, Mrs. Nan Buck of Dugger and Mrs. Bill Enochs of Sullivan; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today. Burial will be at Indian Prairie Cemetery.
