LYDIA CHRISTENE HILL Lydia Christene Hill, 15- year-old daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Robert Hill of Route 2, Plano, died Tuesday. Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Curtis Peterson officiating. Burial was in Plano Mutual Cemetery under the direction of Harrington-Bratcher-Dickey Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Randy Anderson, David Hailid, Stewart Walker, David Hinnrichs, James Blanchard, Donald Nickel, Lyle Yarnell and Tim Vrana. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Faith Lutheran Action Group. Born Nov. 2,1961, in Paris, Miss Hill had moved to Plano five years ago. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Bowman Mixed Choir and Faith Lutheran Action Group. Survivors include her parents; two brothers, Nathan and John Hill, both of Plano; two sisters, Rachel and Marie Hill of Plano, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Hill of Uttlefield and Mr. and Mrs. Ewin Kokel of Kress. The family has requested that any memorial contributions be made to the Lutheran Hour or the Lutheran Bible Translators.

Reverend Robert W. Hill and his wife, Elizabeth, are blessed with 5 children and 20 grandchildren. One son, John, is pastor at Mount Hope Lutheran Church, Casper, Wyoming. Rachel is the wife of Rev. James Woelmer, pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas. A grandson, Joshua Woelmer, is at Concordia Theological Seminary studying to be a pastor. Marie is the wife of Dr. Brent Bultemeier, chiropractor, who has a practice in Texarkana, Texas. The two oldest children are deceased.

They previously resided in a big 3 story house in Paris, Texas. Lydia was my best friend in the 2nd grade.
