Erastus Titus Rogers was a member of Roberts Battery, Arkansas Volunteers, (Artillery) and was in the group of 94 that enlisted in the CFA in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 15, 1861 along with his brother Edwin O. Rogers. He served from June 1861 to latter part of 1861, honorably discharged Dec 15, 1861. He was honorably discharged on account of measles which settled in his lungs from which he suffered the rest of his life from chronic bronchitis, also valvular heart lesion. He applied for and received a $50 pension on Aug 14, 1901. His stated age was 64 years old. His pension was increased 7 Aug 1908 to $75. Company H, Bell's Regiment, Ark Inf (37th) for Oct 31, 1862 to February 28, 1863. Detailed to Salt Works, Arkadelphia.
Co. H, 1st Reg, Ark Inf, Oct 31, 1862 to May 1, 1863, Detailed Extra Duty, Salt Works, Arkadelphia, by order of General Hardeman, Aug 16,1862.
Dec 31, 1863 to February 29, 1864 sent to hospital at Arkadelphia,Sept 14, 1863. Bounty Due $50.
He filed an application for his Confederate Veterans Pension on Aug14, 1901 in Clark County.
