WIFE OF OLIE W ROSS
Bio provided by Colleen:
Laura Anna Parent Ross died after a long illness, at her home, in West Gardiner, surrounded by her family. Laura was born, daughter of Theodore, and Mabel Parent, in Drummond, Canada, and grew up in Eaton, and Houlton, Maine. She lived, most recently, in Litchfield, Maine.

Laura was a professional level seamstress, who enjoyed making clothes, for many friends, and family, and quilts, for her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was a wonderful cook, and baker, and enjoyed traveling, knitting mittens, and creating craft projects.

She discovered an untapped talent for oil painting, at the age of 65, and painted many pictures, for friends, and family.

Laura was a long standing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and held many positions over the years. She was in service of her fellow man through many of her positions and continued to serve by helping those in need even when not called to do so.

Laura is predeceased by the parents, Mabel and Theodore (Ted) Parent; her husband, Olie W. Ross (97); Alice M. Lane (03); Daniel T. Ross (05) and Sandra A. Lane (05).
