Grandma Hurd, aged 97 as she was familiarly known and for many years a resident of Walton died at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. W. Brook, E. Main St. Peru, Monday, the remains were taken to Walton for burial.
She is survived by three sons, D. P. Hurd of Walton, Frank of Elwood and Willard of Arkansas and by two daughters, Mrs. Willard Brooks of Peru, and Mrs. L. A. Dutchess of Walton, 26 grandchildren.
