Amanda "Mandy" Preiss began a new journey in the early morning of July 4, 2012 at Chadron Community Hospital at the age of 32. She was born on May 13, 1980 in Alliance Nebraska to Betty (McMann) and Kenny Preiss.
Mandy attended Bridgeport Public Schools and moved to Alliance after graduating. In 1998, she began working at McDonalds where her strong work ethic, compassion for others, and dependable nature earned her the general manager position. She married to Shawn C. McNett on April 2, 2004 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mandy is best known for her one-of-a-kind smile and giving personality, which left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a devoted mother, a loyal sister, daughter, granddaughter, aunt and friend. Family and friends were her world. She was AMAZING!
Mandy was preceded in death by: grandparents, Ed "Slim" and Jessie McMann and Johnny Preiss.
