Ray Babb Sr., 70, Route 9, died Wednesday at his home of an apparent heart attack.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist church with the Rev. C.E. Bagwell officiating and burial in Cave Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. today at Babbage Funeral home.
A native of Logan County, he was born Jan 12, 1912, the Son of the late Giles and Jimmie Johnson Babb. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Annie G. Babb; five sons, Ray Jr., Clifton Morgan, and Ronnie Dean, all of Hopkinsville, Glen Edward of Indianapolis, Ind, and James L. Babb, Manchester; seven daughters, Lenora Hayward, Peggy Cheatham and Gloria Babb, all of Nashville, Tenn., Wanda Babb, Loretta Hinkle and Roshel Burse, all of Hopkinsville, and Sophronia Stubbs, Fort Bragg, N.C., four brothers, Dr. Moran and James, both of Nashville, Paul and the Rev. George Babb, both of Hopkinsville, 32 grandchildren and Six great-grandchildren.
