He worked as a Mechanical Electric Technician at DMACC in Ankeny for 28 years until his medical retirement in 2003. He completed everything on his bucket list including, deep sea fishing in the Florida Keys in October of 2011, trips to Colorado and Alaska, seeing his grandson Isaac walk for the first time, and meeting his son, Thom. Most of all Larry loved spending time with his family.
God has always given us laughter with Larry's sense of humor in the midst of many trials. He endured much suffering for the sake of his family. He called on the Lord for help and trusted Jesus to help him.
