Melvin Knudtson Died Saturday
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 in the Donnybrook United Methodist Church for Melvin Knudtson, 64, rural Donnybrook farmer, who died Saturday at the home of a nephew, Darrell Workman, who also resides in rural Donnybrook.
Rev. Darald Church and Rev. Russell Black will officiate. Burial will be in the Aurelia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Herman St. Aubin, Vernie Johnson, Evalt Schwede, Fritz Schwede, Howard Rockeman and Lester Wehrman.
Mr. Knudtson was born Jan. 3, 1906, in Sheyenne to Mr. and Mrs. Anton Knudtson. In 1909 his family moved to Donnybrook where he continued to farm. He was supervisor to Ree Township, Ward County.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Arthur West and Mrs. Arthur Workman, both of Minot, and Mrs. James Hayes, Portland, Ore.; and two brothers, Arthur and Clarence, both of Minot.
