After selling the business, Israel and his wife moved to Pflugerville, Texas where they have lived for 14 years. While in Pflugerville, he worked as a Security Officer.
He was preceded by his children Ana-Alicia Peña Konstam and Israel Peña, Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alicia G. Peña; his children, Amy Lou Peña Pedraza, Gabino Peña (wife Margie Peña) and John David Peña (wife Roxanne Peña). He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 1:00pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
