Pinkney Bryson/Brison married Sarah Duncan in Humphreys County, Tennessee in 1848.
Pinkney and Sarah Bryson are found in Humphreys County, Tennessee until the 1870 Federal Census. At that time, they were living in Calloway County with their children and grandchildren.
Pinkney enlisted on 16 December, 1862. He served in the 24th Battalion, Company C, Tennessee Sharp Shooters, also known as Maney's Battalion. His fellow CSA soldiers were from Humphreys County, Tennessee.
He was buried without a marker, and he was once lost to his descendants until his 3rd Great Granddaughter found his name listed as an interment in Hopson Cemetery. We do not know the year he died, but we thank him for what he taught his children, and his grandchildren. We hold the memory of his life close to our hearts.
Pinkney and Sarah Bryson had eight children.
