Killed in action in Vietnam, while a member of the United States Army Special Forces, Green Berets. Bill Bric was 19 years old and was awarded the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Purple Heart Medal. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bric, Jr. and a 1967 graduate of Burbank High School, Burbank, California.
In our yearbook next to Bill's name it says he was active in the following while at BHS: Coll. Prep, Scient., ASB Publicity Comm. 10 grade, Pep Comm. 11 grade. After college would like to go into government work.
He was a loving brother of Steven, Gary and Cathy. You can find his name on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. on Panel 47W Line 038.
