Adolph J. Feldt, Jr., 94, born May 9, 1918, in Freeburg, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at the Litchfield Heritage House, Litchfield, Ill.

Adolph was a retired carpenter. He served in the Army 16 Air Borne, Anti Air Craft. He was a member of the American Legion Post 58, Belleville, Ill., and Zion Lutheran Church, Bethalto, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Melba, nee Hill, Feldt; his second wife, Bernice, nee Doerr, Feldt; parents, Adolph William, and Sarah Marie, nee Eggemeyer, Feldt, Sr.; sister, Luella Marie Albert Deichmann; sister-in-law, Ruth Feldt; and a brother-in-law, Ben Deichmann.

Surviving are his children, Kim Mark (Nancy) Feldt of Columbus, Mont., and Lonna Sue, nee Feldt, (Robert) Leonard of Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren, Steven (Veronica) Groom, Ellen Leonard, Stephen Leonard, Cynthia Leonard (Derrick Morehead), and Robert Leonard, Jr.; numerous great grandchildre; brothers, Nolan William (Loretta) Feldt and Kermit Feldt; special friend, Chuck Bennett, III; and a host of other relatives, family and friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Belleville, Ill.
