LONG ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. MARY HIRT. Mrs. Mary J. Hirt, 79, a former resident of Lanesville, Ind., died in her home, 625 East Eighth street, at 4 o'clock Monday morning, following an illness of several months. She was the widow of Phillip Hirt, a businessman of Lanesville for many years. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Addie Hirt, Mrs. C. W. Jud and Mrs. C. H. Hemmer, all of New Albany; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph and August Endris, both of New Albany; and one sister, Mrs. Theresa Ott, Galena.
