Rachel A Brashear

In the name of the Lord Amen, I Rachel A Brashear of the township of Redstone, Fayette County State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and disposing memory, and considering the uncertainty of life do therefor publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament. First, after
all my lawful debts are paid, the residue of my estate real and personal I give and bequeath and dispose of as follows, to my son Reginald P Brashear all that track of land, bought by me at Sheriff sale, lying on South west-side of National road, and all appurtenances therein situated in above named township & Co. to hold and possess during the term of his natural life, and after his death, to be divided half and half or one half to come to my son's Rignalds Brashears wife Elma Brashear to her and
her heirs and assigned forever, the other half to be equally divided to Reginald P Brashears two sons Orlando W Brashear and Dutton Brashear to them and their heirs and assigned forever. There being a small track lying or joining lands of Goodlow Bowman heirs on same side of National road, containing half acre more of less. I give and bequeath to my sons Rignald P & Otho R Brashear and their heirs forever. Any read estate if any on North east National Road and all my personal property, I give and
bequeath to my son Otho R Brashear his heirs and assignes forever, excepting Organ of which I give and bequeath to my grand daughters, daughters of Otho Brashear Jennie & Minnie forever. Also the young white cow on the farm I give and bequeath to the above named Otho P Brashear
his heirs & Likewise I make and apoint my son Oliver P Brashear my executor of this my last Will and testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. I also desire that my son Oliver P Brashear enter upon his duties as executor without bail or security. In witness whereof I
have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seale the 14th day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand eight-hundred and Eighty four.

The above written will and Testament was subscribed and signed by the said Rachel A Brashear in our presence and acknowledged by her to each of us to be her last Will and testament and we at the testatrix request and in her presence have signed our names as witnesses hereto.

Be it remembered that on this 26th day of Feby AD 1885
before me Charles D Conner Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for said County, came David R Phillips and Amos W Davidson, subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Instrument of
Writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Rachel A Brashear deceased who being duly affirmed according to law did each dispose and say they were personally present and saw the said Rachel A Brashear sign
and seal the present and saw the said Sarah Craft sign and seal the foregoing Instrument of writing and heard her declare the same to be her Last Will and Testament, when of sound and disposing mind and memory, to the best of his beliefs, That they signed their names as Witness thereto,
by request of the said Testatrix, in her presence and in the presence of the each other. That they knew of no undue influence being used in making said Will, or any later Will made.

Affirmed to and subscribed before me the 26th day of Feby A.D. 1885 as witness and my D.R. Phillips hand and official seal, Chas. D Conner, Register A.W. Davidson Now February 26th 1885, the testimony of the above witnesses being adjudged.
