CRADDOCK, JOE CURTIS of Chelsea, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the age of 88. He was born in AL on July 13, 1924, and he married Earline Cain on February 27, 1947. Joe served 2 years in the US Army during WWII, and he retired from Hinkle Supply Company after more than 40 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lawrence Craddock and Dollie Weldon Craddock; and his sisters, Isabelle Beck, Dovie Bass, Josie Meads, and Adelle Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Earline Cain Craddock; 4 daughters, Elizabeth Ann Craddock Silcox (David) of Dayton, VA, Dollie Craddock Osborn (Johnny) of Riverside, AL, Betty Jo Craddock Hicks (Leo) of Chelsea, AL, and Maxine Craddock Guidry (O.J.) of Vacherie, LA; a son, Joe C. Craddock, Jr. (Debra) of Chelsea, AL; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a sister, Bobbie Craddock King (J.D.) of Alabaster, AL. The family will receive friends from 11-12 PM, Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. A graveside service will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
