Miss Mary Lawson

WAVERLY, Oct. 11 - Word has been received here of the death of Mary Lorraine Lawson, 41, of 17 South May av. Columbus, at 12:10 a.m. today at Doctors Hospital in that city. She had been a patient in the hospital for nine days but had been in failing health for 15 years.

She was born in Pike County March 29, 1908, a daughter of Bert and Augusta Darst Lawson. Miss Lawson was married to Jack White.

Surviving are a brother, Charles, of Williamsport; the father; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Sanders, Mrs. Oma Z. Eallear, both of Columbus, Mrs. Margaret Woodward of Malta; four half-brothers; five half-sisters. The mother, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the father's residence here with Rev. O.L. Hall in charge. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery under the direction of Howe Funeral Home, Piketon.

The body may be viewed at the father's residence after 10 a.m. today.
