HEAD ON COLLISION KILLS 3 IN PUTNAM COUNTY:
Three people were killed in a fiery two vehicle accident south of Eatonton.
The dead were identified as Joyce Brown, 34, of Milledgeville; Jimmy Whatley, 39, of Eatonton and Randy Sackman, 38, of Highlands, N.C.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Department said Brown and Whatley were southbound on U.S 441 when Sackman's pickup truck veered into their lane and hit them head on about 1:47 a.m. Sunday.
