Paul William "Bill" Lycan, 50, of Anderson, passed away February 14, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born August 2, 1962 in Anderson. He resided in Anderson most of his life however, he resided for a time in Wabash, Indiana.
Bill honorably served his country in the Huntington National Guard. Bill's occupation primarily was a taxi cab driver (15). He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Bill had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes.
He is survived by his son, Cody Savage of Pendleton; stepdaughters, Janeai, Jalissa, and Jenna Smith; step granddaughters, Aubree Smith and Avery Ruona, all of Peru; sisters and brother, Mary (Danny) Boyer of Logansport, Timothy (Carla) Lycan of Louisville, OH, Delma (Brad) Callahan of North Manchester, Marilyn (Charles) Dalton of Anderson, Della Smith of Louisville, OH and Jerrie Jo Collins of Logansport; aunts; uncles; and cousins. Bill adored being an uncle to his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Anna (McCord) Lycan; and brother, Gene Raymond Lycan, Jr.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Floyd officiating. Laid to rest in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
