FLORENCE - The funeral will be held Jan. 17 for Aimee Ethel Fowler Kitchens of Florence, who died Jan. 9 of age-related causes. She was 88.
She was born June 3, 1917, in Tillamook, to Halbert and Alice Deane Fowler. She was self-employed as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Florence Moose Lodge.
Survivors include a sister, Irene; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Van Kitchens, and a daughter, Cia Mead, died previously.
Tuesday's service will be held at 10 a.m. at Burns' Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home, with burial at Pacific Sunset Cemetery in Florence.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Florence.
