Grace Irene Walker passed away from the effects of cancer at the age of 61 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a resident of Elko, NV for the past 38 years, when coming from Centerville, Iowa in 1941. She married Laurence Walker on May 19, 1942. She had worked for several drug stores in Elko. She dearly loved her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Laurence; daughter, Judy Lujan; granddaughter Pamela Ames; four brothers, Woodrow Wakefield of Davenport, IA, Harry Wakefield, Bobby Wakefield and Everett Wakefield all of Rock Island, IL; eight sisters, Anna Clark, Bettendorf, IA, Marie True, Lamona, Iowa, Sara Hanson of Taylor Ridge, IL, Ruth Benz of Numa, IA, Alice Stewart of Longview, WA, Cleo Hicks of Sedro Wooley, CA, Lena Mash of Palmyra, MO and Margarita Robison, of Los Angeles.
