Warren "Lucky" Boling, 82, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Monday, March 27, 2006, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. He was born March 9, 1924, in Carney, Okla., to Virgil T. Boling and Iva Nettles Boling.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He married Winnie McFarland on June 10, 1948. He was a construction contractor.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Warren Boling; a grandson, Danny Lee Boling; a brother, Willard Boling; and two sisters, Roberta Goeders and Freda Cloud.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie Boling; a son, Don Eugene Boling of Siloam Springs; a daughter and son in-law, Marcheeta Diane Perkins and Michael Perkins of Columbia, Mo.; a stepson, Harley H. Vegele and his wife Shirley Vegele of Madison, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Boling of Siloam Springs; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Fairmount Cemetery near Siloam Springs with Louie Thomas.
Cause of death: Coma from Diabetes.
Aged 82 years.
