Hans Anton Hansen
Birth: Apr. 16, 1872
Death: May 9, 1915

Boxer Rebellion Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Born in Germany, he immigrated to America in 1898 and joined the US Navy as a Seaman. During the relief expedition of the Allied forces in China in June 1900, he distinguished himself by meritorious conduct in the presence of enemy forces. His Medal of Honor was issued on June 19, 1901, and accredited to the state of California. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
