U.S. Army Air Corps B-24H Liberator #42-7661,
serving with the 330th Bomb Group, 457th Bomb
He was killed when his bomber crashed (apparently on approach for landing) to Biggs Army Airfield, at El Paso, Texas.
Capt. Clyde H. Bass, Jr., 2nd Lt. Clarence D.
Hagelbarger, Sgt. Andrew M. Coleman and Sgt. Ray M. Davison also perished.
