Captain Frostic served as Aircraft Commander
with the 30th Bomb Group, 392nd Bomb
Squadron aboard CB-24D Liberator #42-63765,
nicknamed "Evelyn."

He was killed in a crash on Oahu, Hawaii.

All twelve servicemembers aboard perished.

He was from Wayne County, Michigan.

The crew killed were:

1st. Lt. Russell E Reeves (pilot)
1st Lt. John Franco
1st Lt. Kenneth C Kinne
1st Lt. David A Moyer
S/Sgt. William G Gilliland
S/Sgt. Stephen P Medovich
S/Sgt. Hubert P Miller

Sgt. Elmo L Engman
Sgt. Robert E Krueger
