His parents were Lewis and Edith Feinberg.
Feinberg was the flight engineer on B-24M #44-50389, assigned to the 10th Air Force, 7th Bombardment Group, 493rd Bombardment Squadron. They were returning to their base at Pandaveswar India from a bombing mission against Ban Takll Siam when contact was lost. It is believed the aircraft crashed into the Bay of Bengal near Akyab Burma.
He received the Purple Heart.
Because his body was not recovered, he is memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing.
