John Thomas Bauer, 62, Indianapolis, died May 30, 1999.
Tom graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Marion Co, Indiana in 1954. In high school he participated in Booster Club, SPQR, Dramatic Club, Thespian, Band and Hi-Y.
He had worked for Woodland Springs Bowling Lanes and Stoney Creek Golf Course. Previously he worked 27 years for Western Electric Co. He was a member and president of Western Electric Men's Bowling League and a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and Acacia fraternity.
He was a 1ST LT in the US ARMY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Castleton United Methodist Church.
Services: 10 am June 4 in Flanner & Buchanan Lawrence Mortuary, with calling from 4 to 8 pm June 3. Burial: Rossburg Cemetery, New Point.
Survivors: son, Brian Thomas Bauer; mother: Katheryn Colson Bauer.
He died at age 62 years 11 months 6 days.
