Mary Ferrell Appling

Mary Ferrell Appling, 83, of Smyrna, died Friday.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Hills Cemetery in Forest Park, with the Rev. Bill Palmer officiating

A Tennessee native, Mrs. Appling lived in Smyrna six years. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Little of Atlanta, Patsy Oglesby of Smyrna and Sandra Jones of Fayetteville; two brothers, Starnes Ferrell of Sevierville, Tenn., and Walter Ferrell of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
