Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. John Bittle of Parr (SC) that the body of their son, Sgt. Theron F. Bittle is en route to the United States for reburial. Sergeant Bittle was killed in action April 28, 1944 at Orbetello, Italy and was buried in the United States Military Cemetery at Castel-fiorentino, Italy. Survivors include his parents: one brother, Keith Bittle of Rock Hill; and two sisters, Miss Juanita Bittle of Columbia and Mrs. Richard Buck of Grimesland, N.C.
