William John Buck Jr. born to Ruth Irene Cowell Buck and John Buck of Ringgold County Iowa. Navy veteran of WWII, 1950 graduate of Iowa State University. Three brothers Paul Robert, Ralph Boyd, and Max Jerry. Wife Mary Jane Johnson Buck. Children Linda Jane Buck and Thomas Joel Buck. Grandchildren Sara Ann Buck and Sally Kay Buck, daughters of Thomas. Died due to service connected exposure to radiation in Hiroshima and Nagasaki Japan and resultant lymphoma.
