Rose E. McKnight, 79, of San Diego died Friday. She was born in Mercer, Pa., and was a homemaker. She was a member of San Rafael Catholic Church and the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo.
Survivors include her husband, Fred; daughter, Susan Marie Garcia of Staten Island, N.Y.; sons, James Edward McKnight of Ridgecrest, and Thomas James McKnight of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Margaret Racz of Rancho Bernardo, Barbara Adkins of Seal Beach and Mary Lauranson of South San Francisco; and six grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, San Rafael Catholic Church, 17252 Bernardo Center Drive, San Diego.
Inurnment: Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma.
Donations: Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido, CA 92025.
Arrangements: Poway-Bernardo Mortuary.
