Death: Dec. 7, 1911

Indian Wars Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served during the Indian Wars as a First Sergeant in Company L, 8th United States Regular Cavalry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at Hell Canyon, Arizona on July 3, 1869. His citation simply reads "Conspicuous gallantry in action". His Medal was issued on March 3, 1870. (bio by: Russ Dodge)
