Charlotte Jan Treat, age 56, of Benton, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Searcy County, Arkansas. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on January 14, 1955 to Willie Amel Smithee and Mary Charlotte (Tunnell) Smithee.

Jan was currently working as a blood bank supervisor at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She previously worked as a blood bank supervisor for the Arkansas Heart Hospital also in Little Rock. She had also worked as a medical technician at the Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Arkansas for over 10 years. Jan was a loving mother, wife and sister and will be greatly missed.

Her parents and one brother, Bill Smithee, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of the home; one son and wife; one daughter; two sisters and husbands; and several nieces and nephews who will also mourn her passing.

Services for Charlotte Jan Treat will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Nubbin Hill Community Church in Leslie. Family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM.
Burial will in Nubbin Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.
