Donald Hoyle Alford, 55, passed away October 20, 2004 following a brief illness. A native and life long resident of Jacksonville, he was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin F. Alford, Sr. and is survived by his mother, Juanita S. Alford; former wife, Janice Alford; daughters, Brandi Alford Howell (Matt), Heather and Ashley Alford; brother, Marvin F. Alford, Jr. (Glenda); sister, Patricia Masters (Bobby); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services was held 2:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 23rd, in the Chapel of HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 729 S. Edgewood Avenue, with Rev. Vernon Simms officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Memorial Park. The family received friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. For those who preferred, memorial contributions were made to the American Cancer Society.
Graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, Jacksonville, FL on June 4, 1967.
