Morgan Henry Chrysler
Birth: Sep. 30, 1822
Death: Aug. 24, 1890

Civil War Union Brigadier General. He was one of only four men who started out as a private and accended to major-general during the war. Served in Virginia in the Peninsula Camapaign and Chancellorsville, and was wounded multiple times. During Reconstruction, he served as Military Governor of Northern Alabama.
