Daughter of Annie Ivey and Charles "Charlie" Armstrong Reeves.

Her father's first wife was Margaret Leanah Hall, who died about 1861, probably in Gonzales County, Texas.

Het was a twin to Ettie May "Ett" Reeves.

Hettiie was first married to "Unknown" Ward/Warder, producing a daughter, Rosa Mae Warder, born 26 October 1902, died 4 July 1903. She was listed in the Family Bible and a second infant may have been born of this union and died, prior to divorce.

She married (2) 12 July 1904 at Lampasas, William Dennis Spurlin. They were parents of Bertha born 1905, married Raymond Roy Moore and Mable Clara, born 1907, married (1) Gano Joseph Stewart, (2) Ben Dudley Benoist. Hettie and Spurlin divorced after 1910.

Hettie married (3) Thomas Jefferson Benoist 12 May 1917 at Lampasas. This union produced Thelma Faye, born 1919; in common law she married David Moss. Hettie's second child with Benoist was Kyle Eddie, born 1920 and in 1924, a daughter, Mildred Dean was born at Lampasas. Mildred married (1) Frances Herman Allen (2) Louis L. Smith (3) Earl B. Goble.
