Mr. Damon Milby, son of the late Mr. Oscar Milby & Mrs. Gracie Skaggs Milby, was born December 28, 1931, in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, September 26, 1999, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 67 years, 8 months and 28 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Allendale Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Beulahland Baptist Camp and the Green County Coon Hunters' Club. He united in marriage to Betty Lou Judd on May 2, 1970, who survives. He is also survived by 1 daughter and 2 sons: Joan Berry of Greensburg, Steve H. Milby of Greensburg, and Len Milby of Greensburg; 2 sisters and 1 brother: Marie Milby of Greensburg, Aline Beams of Green County, and Brooks Milby of Summersville; 7 grandchildren: Justin Milby, Jordan Milby, Stephanie Milby, Brandy Berry, Ashley Milby, Heather Milby and Angel Milby; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Damon Milby were conducted Tuesday, September 28, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Wilson Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Flatts and Rev. DeWayne Dobson officiated. Active pallbearers were Ken Taylor, Randall Joe Milby, David Milby, Bro. Tom Coffey, Steve Suratt, Bobby McCubbins and Billy Henderson. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Stevenson, Willie Warren, Arnold Brown, Finis Milby, Gary Jackson, Elbert Shirley, Kenny Lee and Willie Milby.
