Birth: 1791
New Brunswick, Canada
Death: unknown
Berrien Springs
Berrien County
Michigan, USA

She is cited for her bravery in June 1813, when she saved Lt. FitzGibbons during a struggle with two raiding American soldiers in Queenston (Niagara), ON. This act of heroism was later remembered at the time her son David was convicted and sentenced to death for his participation in the Battle of Windmill Point in November 1838. Sarah was aged 59 at the time of the 1850 Census, so was born about 1791. She was not listed with family in the 1860 Census, so probably died by then.
