Kathleen Brown Robison July 16, 1922- February 14, 2006 COLUMBUS, GAŚ Kathleen Brown Robison, 83, of Columbus, died Tuesday February 14, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday February 16, 2006 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Columbus, GA. with Rev. Robert J. Merritt and Rev. Richard Wright officiating. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Dale Skip Joiner, Stephen Joiner, Gary Brown, Bruce Bacon, Mike Mobley and Emmitt Garrett. A private burial will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus. Mrs. Robison was born July 16, 1922 in Geneva County, AL to the late Gus H. Brown and the late Flora E. McCaskill Brown. She was a retired clerk from Bibb Manufacturing. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she was a part of The Achievers.
Her first husband Carl R. Gandy, her second husband R.D. Robison, parents and two sisters, Flora H. Brown and Mary Grace Joiner McCain, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Carleen Gandy Ward and husband Raleigh of Savannah, GA; son, Rad Robison of Columbus; grandsons, Rad Thomas Robison of Columbus and David Gray of Atlanta, GA; grand daughters, Michelle Gill Gray of Atlanta and Melanie Gill of Columbus; great grandson, Matthew Gray of Atlanta; sister, Bessie Bacon of Columbus; brother, Myron Brother Brown and wife Martha of Daleville, AL. Contributions may be made in remembrance of Mrs. Robison to Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Columbus Hospice. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at
