ONEONTA, NY — Louise R. Grant, 90, passed away at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.
She was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Depew, the daughter of James J. and Ilona (Molnar) Fox.
She married Walter Grant in Stamford.
Mrs. Grant was employed at the New York State University College at Oneonta for many years.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and doing word- search puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Collins of Oneonta; two grandsons, Tim Miller of Albany and Brian and his wife, Sandi Miller, of Roswell, Ga.; two grandchildren, Max and Dominique Miller; three sisters; a brother; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; her daughter, Sally Fredenburg; and four sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at St. Mary's Roman Catholic in Oneonta, with the Rev. Joseph Benintende as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Emmons.
In lieu of flowers, Mass Cards in loving memory of Mrs. Grant would be appreciated.
