William J. "Jeb" Lynch, 63, of Churchville, PA died peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at his home with his family at his side.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Lynch was a resident of Churchville for the past 34 years.
William was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School class of 1959, Lock Haven College in 1965 and received his Masters Degree in Education from Rider University. Jeb's professional career spanned over 37 years teaching special education and aquatics for the Philadelphia School District, he retired in 2002. His love of sports especially football, he coached at several area high schools most recently at Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, he also coached the Philadelphia Police and Fireman's Blue Flame football team and for 23 summers was the manager of the Bustleton Swim Club.
Jeb enjoyed traveling, skiing and gardening but he truly enjoyed spending quality time with his family and colleagues.
Son of the late John and Anna Palmer Lynch, brother of the late Joseph (Jerry) Lynch. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Kathleen A. Makl Lynch, his loving children Brian Lynch of Atlanta GA, Brett Lynch and Christine Lynch both of Churchville, his sister Ann Thurlow of Ocean View NJ, and many nieces and nephews
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Monday, January 31, 2005 from 10:30am until his Funeral Mass 12:00 Noon at St. Vincent dePaul Church 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro. Interment will be Private.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Chandler Hall Health Services 99 Barclay St. Newtown PA 18940 or, Special Olympics of Pennsylvania 2570 Boulevard of the Generals 124 Washington Square Norristown PA 19403.
