Fannie Spradling, 74, of Route 2, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in a local hospital after a 16-month illness.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Sorrells & Sons Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. B.J. Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Jacobia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chester Sikes, Carl Jacobs, Glenn Dearing, M.A. Woodard, Prather Spradling and Truett Spradling.
She was born Nov. 9, 1895 in Hunt County and was the daughter of John and Josie Morgan Spradling. She was a member of the Park Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, A.B. Spradling and J.B. Spradling, both of Greenville, and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
