Son of Nathan Staker and his first wife, Jane Richmond, who were married about 1828 at Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Jane and this little son, Nathan Richmond, both died of smallpox at Pigeon Grove and were probably buried on their farm.
Died at "Pigeon Grove" - Pigeon Grove is approximately 12 miles from Kanesville, and located in what had been established as the Boomer Township.
