At Capt. Russell Thompson's last night Mr. David Cloyd, aged 56 and with a record of two other wives, led to the altar Miss Emma Gibson, a blushing maiden of 53. Rev. Thomas J. Godbey tied the knot, after which the couple and a number of guests enjoyed a nice supper.

CLOYD - David Cloyd, aged 75, died at Rowland, at an early hour yesterday morning of pneumonia and was buried at McCormack's church to day. His wife died some six months ago, but three children are left behind.

Died, on the 27th of February, David Cloyd. He was stricken with pneumonia on the 20th and lingered for a week. He was born in 1833, was the eldest child and only son in a family of six, only two of whom are living, the writer, and Mrs. Miriam Macauly, of Cars, Mich. He left five children, his oldest son and daughter, Mrs. Cyntha Bryant reside in Covington, another son lives in Greenfield, Ill., two daughters, Miss Arthusa and Lizzie, were with him when he died. He was married three times, went through the war of the rebellion from '61 to '65, as a union soldier, had lived an upright life and will be missed by friends and neighbors.
