She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Velma Ahlers, and husbands Don Dahl, Erv Meier and Joe Carnithan.
She is survived by her brother, Milton (Rita) Ahlers; sister, Donna Vann; and stepbrother, Kenneth (Maxine) Williams; children, Debbie (Terry) Marx, Bloomington, Ill., Cindy (Marty) Martens, Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Gary Dahl, Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Chris Jungwirth, Peoria, Ill., Ken (Jayme) Jungwirth, Bettendorf, Iowa, and Josh (Melissa) Marx, Sarah (Darrell) Cope, and Rebecca (Eric) McMurray, all of Bloomington, Ill., 16 great-grandkids; and special neighbors, Chris and Lisa Maynard.
Roberta retired from John Deere and most recently worked for DCA and Cracker Barrel. She was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Memorial services will be held at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery on Friday, May 25, at 12:30 p.m. with Terry Marx officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Minnie Pearl Cancer Research Foundation, (patient assistance program), 250 25th Avenue N., Nashville, TN 37203.
Thanks to the staff of SCRI, St. Thomas Hospice Unit and Dr. Raefsky's office.
