Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Alyssa and Aadan Rigby, Aaron Gross, Logan and Ellen Steele, and Hansi, Atti and Anna Botschner.
Predeceased by his parents William Gross and Ida (Regele), and brothers and sister-in-laws Clayton and Alexandra Gross, Harold and Bernie Gross, William Gross, Ronald Gross, and sister Elva Brown. Survived by brother and sisters-in-law Gordon & Bernice Gross, Marguerite Gross and brother-in-law John Brown.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and neighbours.
Carmen was a quiet and gentle spirit, a devoted family man and skilled farmer. His clever mind and interest in trying his hand at just about anything resulted in many interesting inventions, projects, and fond memories. He always encouraged family to follow their own interests and pursuits and proudly celebrated their milestones and achievements.
Visitation will be held at Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton on Wed. February 24 from 7-9 p.m. and Thurs. February 25 beginning at 1 pm with service following at 2 pm. Spring Interment.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Bible Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be much appreciated.
